Keratitis-ichthyosis-deafness (KID) is a rare syndrome of cornification that is characterized by keratitis, progressive erythrokeratodermia, and hearing loss 1 . The syndrome was reported in 1915 by Frederick Burns 2 . To date only 100 cases of KID have been reported worldwide. The present article reports a rare case of KID associated with rickets. Case 1 A 10-year-old boy was presented to the clinic with complaints of progressive skin changes that occurred soon after his birth.

Consequently, he was suffering from progressive lower limb deformity from last 5 years and blurring of vision from last 3 years.
