Case presentation An 80-year-old man presented to the hospital with bruising over the upper and lower limbs for the past four days. The patient denied any other bruising tendency, history of falls or trauma, or any family history of bleeding disorders. ## Medical history ## Type 2 diabetes mellitus Hypertension Dyslipidemia Chronic kidney disease stage 3a Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) Glaucoma in both the eyes H/o ischemic stroke 7 years back with subsequent cognitive impairment On prescribed medications - Calcium carbonate, alfuzosin, cardiprin, pantoprazole, atorvastatin, bisoprolol, and metformin H/o COVID-19 vaccination two weeks before the onset of symptoms No other recent vaccination history## The patient was examined and treated with a compression bandage application.
