Renal oncocytoma is a benign renal neoplasm, accounting for 3-7% of all renal tumors. Oncocytomas are challenging to differentiate from renal cell carcinoma because of their overlapping ultra-structural, immunohistochemical, and morphological characteristics. Specific macroscopic characteristics of oncocytomas include a brown, well-demarcated lesion that has the central stellate scar. In pediatric patients, development of renal oncocytoma is rare. This case is about the rare occurrence of renal oncocytoma in a pediatric patient.
