Based on the data from a recent study evaluating the safety of COVID-19 vaccines administered preconception or during pregnancy, the CDC has released new data declaring the vaccines to be safe for pregnant women. Despite having no compelling data on the potential risks of COVID-19 vaccination during pregnancy, there is widespread concern about its safety. On the other hand, the adverse effects of SARS-CoV-2 infection in pregnant women have been well documented.
