The case involved a 67-year-old patient who underwent surgery for an "Immature Scale Cataract " in her right eye. The surgery resulted in the subluxation of the implanted intraocular lens (IOL) within a day. Despite the patient's complaints of persistent pain and lack of vision improvement, the doctor failed to diagnose the subluxation.
The patient later sought a second opinion at another hospital, where the issue was identified, but further surgical intervention was deemed unfeasible.
