This year, the medical postgraduate (PG) admission process through NEET to fill up non-local category seats in different medical colleges in our country has begun. Unfortunately, every state seems to have set its own rule regarding the requirement to do government service after completing PG course in their state medical colleges. The Telangana state government has abolished the pre-existing rule that every PG student after completion of study has to work in a government hospital compulsorily for one year.

But states like Tamilnadu and Karnataka have different rules for those studying PG courses in their states.
