Case Scenario: A 64-year-old man presented to the ED with acute onset of severe back pain. He is unable to stand upright and mentioned weakness in his legs and restricted movement due to pain. On examination, his weakness was rated three to four out of five.

The patient had a history of grade 1 skin cancer for which he had received curative surgical treatment. MRI of the spinal region revealed multiple enhancing lesions in the lumbar spine with obliteration of the central canal at the L4-L5 area.
