Case presentation A 30-year-old female was admitted to the emergency department with a seven-day history of fever, headache with a pain intensity of 8/10 on the visual analog scale, photophobia, and neck pain. She also had an acute confusional syndrome, with varied behavior, aggressiveness, and prosopagnosia.
