Intertrigo is a chronic inflammatory condition of the skin folds such as armpits, under-breast, abdomen (obese people), groin and genital area. The inflammation is caused by skin-on-skin friction and is aggravated by heat and humidity. This article provides an outline of clinical manifestation, diagnosis and management of Intertrigo.
