Though its mentioned in MCI regulations that a doctor can dispense medicines to his patients, still recently there was news in Gujarati paper that Drug and Chemist department raided at 3 clinics/hospitals IN Veraval and seized medicines worth 2,45,000 from doctors. So is it not allowed to keep medicines in hospital and dispense it to our own patients and take charge for it?
