DNB which is awarded by NBE and is equivalent to MD and MS post graduation degree will not be acceptable in medical teaching services. There are two parallel systems of awarding postgraduation degree i.e through medical colleges and NBE. In other words, DNB can practise in its specialty only.
What was the need for making its equivalence with postgraduation degree? Or Medical education governing the body of the country may not find training for awarding DNB equivalent with post graduation degree. I feel so, what is your opinion?
