A doctor at one of the Hospitals in Sihor town, Gujarat, was allegedly assaulted by three individuals after asking them to remove their footwear before entering the emergency room. The incident occurred when the trio had brought a woman with a head injury to the hospital. According to the FIR, after being asked to take off their shoes, the men began verbally abusing the doctor and nursing staff, escalating to physically attacking the doctor, who sustained injuries. They also damaged medical equipment in the room.

The police arrested the three accused. The FIR further noted that the attackers threatened to kill the doctor during the incident.
