A 60-year-old woman was presented with an episode of chest pains without specific triggers (in particular no relation with exercise). Her physical examination revealed no abnormalities. The ECG was ordered (image attached). An echo was normal and so were the coronary arteries upon coronary angiography. The coronary artery disease was seemed to be unlikely.
The abnormalities on the ECG persisted during the admission period which lasted a day before. Family history Her family history revealed no coronary artery disease, sudden death, epilepsia or syncope. She herself had never had a syncopal episode either.
