Acetaminophen is often used in several over-the-counter (OTC) and prescription medications specified for pain, fever, and to treat cold/flu symptoms. It is evident that directed labeled dosing intake (appropriate use and safe dosing) of the acetaminophen-containing product is harmless for individuals. However, there is less evidence for the excessive acetaminophen consumption which resulting in serious risk complication such as acetaminophen-induced liver toxicity.
