Case presentation A 5-year-old boy reported to the hospital with forehead swelling preceded by a recent sinus infection. His initial symptoms included fever and nasal congestion, for which he was prescribed antibiotics for ten days. The patient had completed the antibiotic course three days before the admission.
He subsequently developed headache, photophobia, unsteady gait, vomiting, and progressive forehead swelling.
