The Need For Guidance The dead body of a COVID-19 patient, along with coffins, human remains, and belongings of the deceased individuals, are potential sources of infection. Furthermore, the transport and handling of the same can result in a significant spread of the infection.
The healthcare professionals involved in handling the dead bodies, as well as transport authorities, airport staff, and family members of the deceased, are at high risk of cross-infection.
