Prediabetes is increasingly prevalent and frequently progresses to diabetes, highlighting the need for effective preventive strategies. High-protein diets and diabetes-specific nutritional formulas have shown promise in improving glycemic control, but their clinical utility in prediabetes remains unclear.

To address this gap, a study evaluated the effectiveness and clinical utility of a high-protein diabetes-specific nutritional formula (DSNF-Pro) in 21 individuals with prediabetes.
