A 27-year-old primigravid woman presented with new-onset diabetes and hypertension at 32 weeks of gestation. She also reported gradual worsening of proximal muscle weakness, striae, and facial plethora over the past few months. Physical investigations revealed striae over the abdomen, breasts, and dorsal and supraclavicular fat pads. Laboratory investigations revealed a potassium level of 2.9 mmol/L, and urine analysis revealed a protein: creatinine ratio of 24.
