Obinutuzumab, a glycoengineered type II anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody that induces potent B-cell depletion, has been approved for the treatment of active lupus nephritis; however, its efficacy and safety in patients with active Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) remain to be fully established. To address this gap, a clinical study evaluated the therapeutic efficacy and safety profile of obinutuzumab in 303 patients with active systemic lupus erythematosus.
