Psoriasis is a chronic relapsing autoimmune skin disease which affects not only adults but also pediatric population. About 2-4% of the total population is affected by Psoriasis. Genetic predisposition and environmental factors are considered to activate the disease. During psoriasis, there has been increased risk of other autoimmune disorders such as ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, and autoimmune thyroiditis.
