Enthesitis-related arthritis (ERA), is characterized by the involvement of the entheses and the axial skeleton along with peripheral joints. The juvenile ERA is the most common cause of acquired disability and reduced the health-related quality of life in childhood. However, recently the use of anti-tumor necrosis factor (TNF) agents within the first year of diagnosis have been associated with benefits in several clinically significant outcomes.
