Promote Patency- a Multicentric Prospective Randomised Trial conducted by 7 centres in India, proves that Coronary Bypass done by the Off Pump ( Beating Heart ) method produces results equivalent to conventional Bypass using the heart lung machine (On Pump). Thus dispelling the skepticism of data from some centres with low expertise levels about the quality of Off Pump Cabg. India's first such endeavour in Coronary Surgery.
