Despite the introduction of biologics for the treatment of rheumatological diseases in the 1990s, there are still unmet needs for proper modern day management of rheumatology at a global level. According to Samar Al Emadi et al, patients of the Emirate strongly prefer oral therapies for rheumatological diseases.
