A 2-month-old infant was presented to a pediatrician with a newly developed swelling in the left anterior maxilla region. The swelling caused a rise in the left alae of the nose causing facial asymmetry at the upper lip. Physical examination The lesion was 2 cm in dimension, sessile and bluish in color ( Figure 1). Upon palpation, the lesion was not found to cause any discomfort in the baby.
Buccal cortex: Absent Pulse from the mass: Absent Radiographic finding An axial CT scan showed a 2-cm radiolucent lesion with irregular borders. The lesion was found to cause teeth displacement and also interfere with the normal development of the teeth (Figure 2).
