Being a doctor in India is voluntarily pushing ourselves to a low economic status. Many of the doctors also would have got IIT/NIT/other great institutions after their 12th. But driven by our innate goodness and the desire to achieve the Messiah status, we opted for medicine. The reality of hardship strikes only after entering well inside the current of this ocean, the medical field. Many become frustrated of their low earning potential compared to other professions, but could not make any viable change other than venting out during public discussions.
Even ola /uber drivers are earning 1 lac per month. many IT employees in Chennai are becoming cab drivers in the evening. Is there no other way to become entrepreneurs without getting out of the field?
