MRSA necrotizing pneumonia is a rare and severe case of community-acquired pneumonia (CAP), which destroys white blood cells and necrosis, resulting in necrotizing pneumonia in the lungs. Here we describe a case study of an elderly woman suffering from severe CAP, with a history of various comorbidities, who is effectively treated with Ceftaroline Fosamil. Case presentation A 72-year-old female presented with a history of asthma , which developed into upper respiratory tract infection along with fever and rhinorrhea, that resolved without any treatment.
