Synopsis Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are the most common pediatric infections. The occurrence of UTIs are different in varied age groups and gender. After 6 months of age, it is observed that girls are more prone to UTIs. Timely management of UTIs is the need of the hour in such patients to prevent complications like renal scarring.
