Myopia is neither a disease nor a disorder. It is mostly a variation of the normal. Would you call a person who is shorter or taller than the average height as one having a disease or a disorder? Extremes of height- being very short or very tall could be one of the signs of a disease or disorder. It is the same with Myopia. Very high Myopia (short-sightedness) or very high Hypermetropia (long-sightedness) could signal some disease or disorder but most of the people with myopia or hypermetropia are just variation of the normal.
Some outliers like people with pathological progressive myopia are quite rare -which is the same case with people who are extremely short or extremely tall. Whether genetics comes to play in myopia?
