The medical conferences are predictable! In most of the conferences, we witness the same speakers, the same topics and often same slides! Higher the level of the conference, truer is this observation. Most of these "seasoned" speakers have no regard for their audience or programme schedule! They talk beyond their permitted time, thereby extending into the "nominal" question-answer duration.
Many of them even extend into the duration of the next talk also! In my personal experience, I find many of these "star" speakers quite disgusting. Barring a few honorable exceptions, most of these "big time" speakers make their PG students prepare the slides for the talk (even senior PG would have outsourced this job to a junior PG!)
