A pregnant lady having marginal increase in Total count since 4 th week of gestation (13,300/.cu mm) with peripheral smear showing toxic granulations/band forms. this was done as there was a mild signs of UTI. Later when repeated, there is persistant high total count (13,700 for 8weeks, 13,850 12th week, 13, 653 for 20th week and 16300 for 24th week). But the patient is asymptomatic without any fever/signs of infection. Peripheral smear showed toxic granulations+. other finding is patient is having mild thrombocytopenia since many years (low platelet ranging 1.4Lakhs).
patient treated twice with Taxim course in 6months span.
