The sudden and rapid outbreak of COVID-19 has made it challenging to identify drugs that are effective in preventing and treating the disease. Although several clinical trials have been conducted to assess the efficacy of some of the drugs for COVID-19 treatment, there is no clear evidence regarding the effectiveness of currently available medical treatment options for this disease. This article discusses the recent guidelines given by the Continuing Medical Education (CME) India for COVID-19 management. Based on the guidelines, COVID-19 patients can be classified into mild, moderate, and severe cases.
