An extremely potent and clinically significant biomarker for pancreatic cancer has been identified that offers efficient early diagnosis and thus better prognosis. This article discusses the benefit of this novel biomarker. Pancreatic cancer accounts for the top-five leading cause of cancer death owing to its less than 4% five-year survival rate even with modern surgical techniques.
