A 40 Y/F Recently detected hypertension (146/ 90) came to me with a c/o on & off generalised swelling all over the body since 4 yrs, epecially if she takes any medicines (may it be for pain or for anything). Her Weight is 105 kg, Pulse Rate 106, Spo2 is 97% off O2. She did her Thyroid Function Test 1 yr back which was Normal (as per patient). She is not having TAT reports now. Whenever she has swelling it lasts for 4-5 days then it gradually decreases to normal in 3-4 days.
Swelling is not associated with any Chest pain/Dyspnea/syncope or palpitations. She does her routine normal daily activities even when she has Swelling . Regarding her feeding pattern it's normal but she said her frequency of micturition is less just 3-4 times in 24 hrs and whenever she micturates she felt her Swelling reduces.
