Several changes and revisions have been suggested recently in MBBS syllabus or curriculum. Some of these changes to be mentioned are: Govt recommended to include Ayurvedic element MCI planned to allow first year MBBS students to treat patients. Govt official wanted to revise MBBS syllabus and suggested there is no need to study in detail many aspects of medical science.
All these changes suggest that the with the changing scenario of science, the current MBBS curriculum need to be improved. Whatever is the opinion of Government expertise about this change, but being an experienced person, individual doctor’s view is really important in such a case.
