Nowadays, we are seeing big hoardings to small messages behind autos rickshaws to mass e-mailers, bulk messages advertising order medicines online and get flat 20% discount, COD etc. Looks like online pharmacy players are also influenced by festival sale. This raised several questions in my mind. Is ecommerce model for FMCG goods for medicine shopping also? After sometime this will convert into prime delivery services and Silver/Gold/Platinum loyalty programs etc. Does someone enjoys buying medicine so they would prefer buying more and more to win status from a particular vendor?
Substitution with yearly savings displayed without asking for it. Is it legally allowed? Ethically correct? Just waiting to see doctors start advertising "Happy Hours" one par one consultation free. What do you think about discount on pharmacy? Share your views.
