In India, 1% of boys and 3-5% of girls have risk of Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) before the age of 14 years. UTI symptoms in children are often not obvious. Hence it becomes a challenging task to accurately diagnose pediatric UTI. Treatment course and effective management strategies depend upon the critical symptoms, diagnostic results, and grade of the infection.
