Most of the COVID-19 infected patients recover within few weeks; however, some may experience long-term effects. The researchers have termed such patients as “long haulers” who have recovered but still show symptoms of COVID-19. According to a study published in Annals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, non-hospitalized COVID-19 patients with asymptomatic or mild conditions showed persistent neurological symptoms for weeks after recovery.
