Case presentation A 75-year-old woman comes to your clinic complaining of her ‘uncooperative’ left hand . The woman is awake and conscious but appears to be scared. You calm her down and make her comfortable. After calming down, she tells you that her left hand has a “will of its own” and moves involuntarily . The patient reports that her rogue limb moves by itself, and its fingers tend to fiddle with the things and objects they encounter .
For example, yesterday, her tormentor left hand gripped her throat so hard that she had to use her other hand to defend herself . “My left hand has a sinister agenda of its own!”, she says at the end in a frightened tone.
