Sleeve gastrectomy is one of the most commonly performed metabolic surgeries. The technique has been observed to result in considerable weight loss in a short time. It may also  associate with the remission of several obesity-related disorders and musculoskeletal problems. However, the success of the surgery greatly depends on surgical efficiency. Several factors like abdominal access, trocar placement, pain management, and other intraoperative steps are crucial. To gain essential insights in this regard, Docplexus has organized an international academic collaborative 6 in association with the Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endosurgeons on 27th August 2020, 5 pm onwards. In the session, experts will discuss the potential roadblocks in sleeve gastrectomy and ways to overcome those.
