While addressing a question on recently introduced "Modicare" in India Prime Minister in 'Bharat ki Baat sab ke sath" programme in London stated that a number of measures have been taken by his Government to make health and treatment affordable and accessible to all particularly poor as recently introduced Ayushman Bharat scheme, availability of cheap generic medicine in Jan Ashudhalayas, reducing price of many essential medicines, cardiac stents, and knee implants. But he unnecessarily made a mockery of doctors and labeled a lot of charges on them as of getting something on writing some medicines, going to Singapore or Dubai in medical conferences as a nexus among Doctors with Pharmaceutical companies where doctors participate but not to cure sick patients.
