Essential tremor (ET) is widely recognized clinical syndrome of action tremor in the upper limbs that is frequently associated with significant physical and psychosocial disability. The symptoms are typically progressive and can be potentially disabling, thus forcing patients to seek early retirement. As a result, a proper treatment is essential for a correct diagnosis.
