Case presentation An eight-month-old male infant was brought to the pediatric emergency department after experiencing three episodes of generalized tonic seizures within 24 hours. He had a prior history of febrile seizures starting at six months of age.

Similar to earlier events, the current seizures occurred in association with fever, with a maximum recorded temperature of 39°C.
