Recently someone posted on Linkedin, "Should reporting adverse drug reactions be made compulsory to physicians"? I do not know the correct answer but the fact that so many great knowledgeable people commented on this made me realise how much it is important to raise awareness of pharmacovigilance. The fact that in Country like India where we have such a diverse huge populations and drugs are taken like candies, it will be tremendously helpful to get data on adverse drug reactions of drugs.
We drug safety scientist, and all other clinical research industry will be so much thankful for such data of adverse drug reactions that it will help many more drugs to come in market which are safer and cheaper.
