Sir, I have a patient, 22 yrs old who is suffering from resistant typhoid since 2 yrs. She is having 99 temp, no loss of wt. or any other symptom. Widal is positive 1/640. She is with me since one month.

I had prescribed her tab cefixime, azithromycin for 10 days then chloramphenicol 500 tds for 2 wks. Widal became positive 1/320 but after she left the t/t its again 1/640. Blood culture [aerobic] before the start of t/t and now again is sterile. Please advise t/t. Thank you.
