Case presentation Mr. S is a 67-year-old man, often disinterested in life and has no drive to live. One day, he was brought to the emergency department for poisoning himself with an overdose of his own medicines.

Patient history Heart attack and high blood pressure were managed by bisoprolol, apixaban, nitroglycerin, nicorandil, furosemide, and statins. Diabetes with insulin treatment Severe depression treated with vortioxetine with benzodiazepine, oxazepam Drug overdose - The patient had taken apixaban (60 tablets), acetaminophen (16 g), oxazepam (10 tablets), and some other drugs.
