Recently a team of Onco-surgeons conducted robotic whipple surgeries in pancreatic cancer patients. This method offers several advantages over conventional open surgery. It needs the small incision to access all the organs and thus the patient recovery is achieved in general ward reducing the total expenditure. However, the procedure still needs to be optimized for tumor removal and reconstruction process. The team conducted surgeries on three patients suffering from various stages and medical conditions.
