Sarcoidosis, systemic disease with an unknown cause, is often mistaken for tuberculosis (TB) in India. This article highlights the differences and similarities between sarcoidosis and TB. It also summarizes the methods of distinguishing sarcoidosis from TB with a distinct line of treatment.
