We used to see patients, as many as we could a few years back. However, it causes stress on both doctors and patients.If appointments are given we know how many new and review cases are seen. We can arrange our time and energy for these patients. While review patients can be sent off faster people with problems take more time. New cases need investigations in addition to more time. Both types of cases must be judiciously spaced so that satisfaction is maximum. I had a complaint from a patient that she had to wait even she was the first to enter the clinic of an orthopedics though without the appointment.
