Chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps leads to significant symptoms and reduced quality of life. Stapokibart, a novel monoclonal antibody targeting interleukin-4RΞ±, has emerged as a potential therapeutic option. To evaluate this, the efficacy and safety of stapokibart as an add-on to intranasal corticosteroids were assessed in 180 patients. The study demonstrated that stapokibart led to a markedly greater reduction in nasal polyp size than placebo, with least squares (LS) mean changes of –2.6 vs –0.3 points and –3.0 vs –0.4 points in patients with eosinophilia.

Nasal congestion scores also improved more with stapokibart, showing LS mean changes of –1.2 vs –0.5 points overall and –1.3 vs –0.5 points in the eosinophilic group.
