A 86 year old male patient came with shortness of breath, diabetic, chest X ray not showing any abnormal condition, Doctor was prescribed sputum for AFB, bacterial culture, Gram stain, Throat swabs for viral pneumonia 12 pathogens including swine flu, report of viral pneumonia negative, In Gram stain it shows moderate number of poly morphs with budding yeast cells with pseudhohyphae seen, few gram positive cocci in pairs, short chains seen, after 24 hours incubation In culture yeast growth, mycelium fungal growth on blood agar seen, both was sub cultured on SDA medium, one strain diagnosed by using germ tube method test it diagnosed Non Albicans candida , by using fungal slide culture method it diagnosed the aspergillus, The clinician by using of antifungal drugs (fluconazole combination) patient was cured and discharged.
